is holding a new writer’s contest!
Here is another chance for our listeners to submit a short story which they have written about a dog. The story can be non-fictional or fictional and should be 1000 words or less.
SPEAK will award a $100.00 cash first prize and make a $100.00 donation to a local dog rescue organization of the winner’s choice. The winning story will be featured on our website, will be read on the air, and the winning author will have an opportunity to be a guest on the show. Stories should be submitted no later than September 1, 2009.
